Ice skating is a popular wintertime activity that many families engage in together, and Burnaby families have been asked to save some time in their schedules for an afternoon of skating fun planned for the community.
Bill Copeland Sports Centre offers an assortment of activities all year long, and to help make the festive season even more fun, it has made plans to host an ugly sweater skating event. Admission to the activity is just $2, and kids who are three and under are welcome to participate at no charge.
The Ugly Christmas Sweater Toonie Skate will see individuals and families don their favourite ugly holiday sweater and hit the rink, and the admission fee includes a skate rental. It has been noted that anyone who is aged 12 and up will need to supply proof of vaccination, and questions can be directed to the organizers via phone. No pre-registration is required.
A flyer printing company will have an assortment of ways of promoting an activity like this, and it will also be able to provide sign in sheets, waivers and other business Forms.
The Bill Copeland Sports Centre, which is located at 3676 Kensington Avenue, will be welcoming one and all for the Ugly Christmas Sweater Toonie Skate on December 8th. It will begin at 12:30 pm and will run until 3:00 pm.
