The spring and summer yard sale season has kicked off for another year, and Burnaby has organized an event that may help local households to clean out their closets.
Bill Copeland Sports Centre will be welcoming members of the public for a Car Trunk Sale, and a limited number of parking stalls are available to the public. Stall rentals start at $14.90, and there is an option available that includes the use of a table.
The organizers of the day have explained that it will be for gently used items only, and each household will be able to reserve one spot. Those who would like to book a table need to do so ahead of time, and sellers are asked to remain onsite throughout the activity. It is recommended that the registrants bring small bills and coins so they can make change, and it is also advised they group their items into categories and be ready to sell as soon as the gates open to shoppers.

Burnaby’s Car Trunk Sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd. It will be held at 3676 Kensington Avenue, and will take place rain or shine starting at 9:00 am.
