What's Happening in Burnaby, BC…

Burnaby event offers spooky fun

A special activity is set to help Burnaby families start their Halloween fun a bit early, with an event specifically targeted towards the younger audience.

Christine Sinclair Community Centre has organized a spooky celebration that will run on for one hour, and it will be all about engaging in active fun. It is being held as part of its Tiny Tykes program, but all kids are welcome to join the excitement.

The Spooky Tiny Tykes gathering will include opportunities for play and exploration, and guests can give their Halloween costume a test drive before they go shelling out in the evening. They will be able to visit the various occupants of the community centre, and treats will be distributed to the participants. A small fee is being charged for those who are not registered in Tiny Tykes. Anyone who has questions about accessibility or requires other information can contact the event’s organizers by calling 604-320-2222.

Businesses and not for profit groups alike often organize special Halloween activities for their members and the general public. Small promotional products such as stickers, mini flashlights and wrapped candies may be ordered in advance to hand out to trick or treaters.

This spooky instalment of Tiny Tykes will kick off on Halloween, October 31, running from 9:30am until 10:30am. The Christine Sinclair Community Centre can be found at 3713 Kensington Avenue.
