The local community will be getting together in early summer for a celebration that will help to keep the shelves at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank full.
Swangard Stadium in Burnaby will be the location for a huge outdoor party called Foodstock, and the guests will be able to relax and catch up with old friends while supporting a good cause. Tickets for the festivities are on sale now, and the line-up of performers offers an eclectic mix of genres.
While the crowd takes in the entertainment, they will be invited to purchase refreshments from one of the food trucks, and everyone is reminded to bring seating for themselves, such as a lawn chair or blanket. The stadium's field will be open, and each ticket holder will receive a voucher for a free beverage from the list of providers. The function is restricted to those who are aged 19 and up, and IDs will be checked.
Outdoor festivals such as this may take place or shine, and a banner printing company will have decor options on offer that can withstand being out in the elements.
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank and 102.7 THE PEAK will be hosting the Foodstock fundraiser at Swangard Stadium, 3883 Imperial Street in Burnaby on June 26th. Tickets for the experience may be purchased through its Eventbrite listing.
