Burnaby class to give love from the kitchen

A Burnaby workshop will teach members of the public how they can prepare simple gifts they can be proud to give, and they can even wrap them, right in the classroom.

This make and take event will teach how easy it can be to produce edible homemade gifts, and the learners will also discover how they can package the items so that they will look as good as they taste. The recipes will be provided, and the learning will be hands on.

The workshop will be spread out over two sessions, and the gifts prepared can be suitable for any occasion. The students will be preparing at least three dishes, and both baking and cooking techniques will be used. The fee for the course is $34.60, and it’s open to anyone who is at least 16 years of age.

Taking part in this sort of offering can not only be fun, but can also give the learners confidence in the kitchen. A company that crafts Letterheads can supply printed recipe cards for this sort of event, and can laminate them so that they will be protected any from cooking mishaps and spills.

The Edible Gifts Workshop has been scheduled for the Wednesday evenings of December 4 and 11. It will run from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on both evenings.
