Burnaby celebration to boast Venezuelan flair

The Venezuelan Canadian Society of British Columbia has invited one and all to wrap up their holiday shopping at an event that will be adding some extra festive fun to Burnaby’s holiday calendar.

The organization will be welcoming the public for the 5th Venezuelan Christmas Bazaar at Burnaby Lake Rugby Clubhouse. The activity will help to shine a light on the local Venezuelan business community, and the doors will be open to shoppers for seven hours.

When they arrive at the venue, the attendees will be invited to browse through all of the vendor tables and other displays, and while admission is free, a donation at the door will be greatly appreciated. This can be in the form of either a monetary contribution or a gift of non-perishable food, which will be passed along to those in need through the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Live music is on the agenda as well.

Pop-up markets such as this one are a common sight during the winter holiday season. Businesses that participate in such events often make use of business card printing and other marketing services from area printers.

This opportunity for Burnaby residents add a little Venezuelan flair to the holidays will be held on December 11th. The 5th Venezuelan Christmas Bazaar will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
