The 2012 Burnaby Business Excellence Awards Gala is coming up very fast and will take place at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown's Crystal Ballroom. A joint presentation of the Burnaby Board of Trade and the City of Burnaby, it celebrates the companies and individuals who take those extra steps towards excellence.
The evening will start with a cocktail reception, which will allow Burnaby business brains to do some light networking. No doubt those planning to attend will make sure to arrange for a new business card printing order in advance. The reception will be followed by dinner and the awards program.
Those in attendance will also learn from the example of the people and businesses who win the Business Excellence Awards. The awards up for grabs are Business Innovation, Community Spirit, Environmental Sustainability, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Not-for-profit Organization of the Year, Business Person of the Year, and Business of the Year. The finalists for the awards were nominated by the public and business community at large. Those companies or individuals who were not nominated might have a chance to find out exactly what they must do in order to be a finalist for next year's awards.
The awards gala takes place just over three weeks from now, on November 7, from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets are $145 for Burnaby Board of Trade members or $1375 for a table of 10 and $190 for non-members or $1805 for a table of 10. For more information, call 604-412-0100.
