Burnaby area market to offer Halloween-inspired fun

Burnaby residents who appreciate the spooky side of the Halloween season may find lots that piques their interest at a market that will put the talents of area crafters front and centre.

Sapperton Hall in New Westminster will be the venue for a pop-up event that will be open to shoppers for two days. Both the upper and lower levels of the building will be filled with booths, tables and other displays of handmade items, and each $4 ticket admits two adults. Kids aged 12 and under are welcome to enter at no charge.

At last 60 vendors are expected to be on hand for the market, and they will all fit into the Halloween theme. Along with this, the attendees will be able to get some inspiration for their own haunted house when they visit the display set up by MAD Props. The items that will be on offer will range from dragon figurines and other decor to taxidermy, stained glass, accessories and a variety of oddities that the shoppers may not be able to find anywhere else.

Lots of communities hold pop-up style craft markets. Business card printing is often undertaken by the small businesses that choose to take part.

The All Hallows’ Eve Craft Market will be adding some extra thrills and chills to the season on October 1st and 2nd. Both days will begin at 10:00 am and wrap up at 4:00 pm.
