Holistically prepared foods can be just as healthful as they are delicious, and a Burnaby area course will show how easy it can be to bring these benefits to the table.
Over a course of 10 sessions, students in the Holistic Culinary Certificate Program will discover how to prepare a variety of nutrition-packed dishes. The learners will learn a variety of cooking techniques, and knife skills are also on the agenda.
The series of classes will open with a review of the culinary basics, and from there, it will move on to specific ingredients and how to get the most from them in the kitchen. The final session will be focused on cuisine from all over the world.
As COVID-19 prevention protocols will be put into place, the students can learn safely. The participants are reminded to wear closed-toed shoes, and they will each be given an apron that sports the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition’s Logo Design.
Certificates that indicate the bearer has completed the Holistic Culinary course will be issued to each student who attends all ten workshops. Early bird registration for the event is now open.
The spring 2021 instalment of the Holistic Culinary Certificate program will begin on April 7th. The final class will be held on June 9th, and the venue for the activity can be found at 102 - 2245 West Broadway in Vancouver.
