The 2012 Christmas luncheon of the Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) will take place at the Simon Fraser University Diamond Alumni Center on in early December. Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy, which will be donated to the Burnaby Christmas Bureau, which provides toys and other services to low-income families - definitely a worthwhile cause at this time of year.
The luncheon will feature a buffet, a visit from Santa Claus, and the 2nd annual BBOT Gingerbread House contest. Guests will have the opportunity to show off their creative side to their fellow business peers. It will be a fun way to kick off the holiday, to enjoy the company of the local business community, and to help provide a memorable Christmas to needy children.
The luncheon will also be a great networking event for Burnaby businesspersons. No doubt many will be arranging with local printing companies for a new business card printing order. There is bound to be a chance for business peers to exchange Business Cards and to casually discuss their companies. There will be no hard sell, but each person should have the opportunity to deliver their ‘elevator pitch’ before and during lunch, and seize the opportunity to grow their referral networks.
The date to remember is December 7, from 11:30 am - 2:00 pm. Individual tickets are $55 for Board of Trade members or $400 for eight. Non-members pay $80 each or $600 for a table of eight. For more information, call 604-412-0100.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
