The Vancouver Aquarium will be hosting a special show over the festive period, with attendees given the opportunity to experience the wonders of the undersea world.
The event will feature more than 100 origami jellyfish in the Jelly Swarm, and the interactive exhibit allows guests to try out different lighting combinations. There is also an eel-powered tree, a 4D showing of ‘Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas’, and a virtual tour of the deep ocean.
Guests can view a variety of sea creatures which are able to create their own light and for the holiday season, Scuba Claus will be making an appearance in the Canada's Arctic Gallery area of the aquarium.
Those who wish to leave with a souvenir can visit the gift show for a variety of merchandise related to the exhibit.
The Vancouver Aquarium was the country’s first public facility of its kind when it opened in 1956. It remains the largest in Canada.
This exhibit is likely to attract visitors from all over the Vancouver area, including those in nearby Burnaby. Products such as Flyers and Posters may have been distributed throughout the area to boost publicity. When organizations have special events coming up, they often contact local Print companies to help with the design and printing of such materials.
Luminescence at the Vancouver Aquarium is taking place from November 28 to January 22. Admission is $25 for adults, $18 for students, youth and seniors, and $14 for those aged four to 12.
