The Abbotsford Agrifair, one of the city’s longest-running events, will be back for another year this August, claiming to be “The Best Little Country Fair”.
New to this year’s event will be a showcase by the Monster Spectacular monster truck tour, with four performances throughout the weekend. The show will feature local trucks Rough Neck and Crude Behavior alongside PsychoPat and two others, in addition to ATV races and freestyle motocross.
Northern Lights Motorsports will also be presenting a classic demolition, with five shows over the three days of the fair. For those looking for something a little slower, there will be the popular pig racing event, and an “extreme dog show” promoting animal rescue and pet adoption.
Also new to the fair will be an “extreme lumberjacks” show featuring stunts and tricks. Other events include All Star Wrestling, a foam party, an escape room, and a portable planetarium. There will also be traditional agricultural displays of animals, farm machinery, crops and more. Horses and riders will be showcased in a number of equestrian events. Visitors can enjoy a classic carnival midway with rides and games, as well as live musical performances. Fairs like this are often promoted through flyer printing and social media, and can help to bring communities together.
The 2025 Abbotsford Agrifair will take place at Abbotsford Exhibition Fair from August 1 to 3.
