The evening will aim to bring back the glitz and glamour of celebrity life from 1950s Hollywood, with guests invited to bring back classic formal looks from stars of yesteryear. Visitors can play classic table games, drink cocktails, and enjoy a curated selection of food. Tickets are available for individuals and groups.
In addition to ticket sales, the Grand Gala will be raising money through live and silent auctions. Auction items will be donated from local businesses and organizations. Fundraising events such as this one often use brochure printing and presentations to highlight sponsors, volunteers and other contributors.
All money raised through the event will go towards the Foundation’s mission of supporting hospitals and other health care in the eastern Fraser Valley. The organization contributes to hospitals in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Fraser Canyon and more. The group’s mission statement says that their goal is:
“Ensuring the very best health for ourselves and our loved ones means ensuring expert care, close to home. Your hospital is here for you and your family, providing compassionate, life-saving care to meet the needs of our diverse community.”
The 2026 Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation Grand Gala will take place on the evening of November 20 at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre in Abbotsford.
