Skys the limit at Abbotsford International Airshow

The Abbotsford International Air Show “Heroes of the Skies” will soon be taking off for another year, and its organizers plan for it to be bigger and better than ever.

The event, which first took place in 1962, seeks to demonstrate aviation excellence and involve members of the local community. It will feature a Twilight Show, exhibits related to aviation, a kids’ zone, a refreshment area and more. There will also be a fireworks show, autograph signing by pilots and others involved in the field, and the Canadian aerobatic team The Snowbirds will be providing the grand finale. Poster printing can be used to create promotional items for events such as this.

Several different ticket options are being offered for the three days of the show, which will take place from August 12 until August 14th. Single day general admission passes start at $25 for adults and $12.50 for children ages 6 to 12. There is no charge for children under the age of 6, veterans and also active military members and their families with an ID. A special $100 pre-sale “carload” special pricing for groups of 6 in one car is being offered, and weekend passes are also available.

The Abbotsford Airshow will take place at the Abbotsford International Airport, rain or shine. Those who would like to find out more are invited to visit the event’s website.
