The 16th annual Butterfly Ball is taking place next month in Abbotsford and is a fundraiser for the Abbotsford Hospice Society.
The theme of this year's event is ‘From Paris, with Love’. It will feature a sit-down dinner, wine and cocktails. There will also be live entertainment and games to play. Guests can bid on items that were donated by local businesses and individuals in both live and silent auctions.
Sponsorships can be purchased for $10,000 and $15,000. Sponsors will be recognized at the event with signage, Banners and digital slides. They will also be mentioned in the event program that everyone receives.
The Abbotsford Hospice Society provides many services for those who are terminally ill and support for their families. In 2016, the society opened the first hospice in the city, Holmberg House. It also provides palliative services and grief support for families. This is only one of the many fundraisers the society sponsors each year.
