This September, Abbotsford is invited to help bid a warm welcome to the cooler days of autumn with an event that will celebrate the area’s harvest season.
The proceeds will benefit the local community, and it will be the first year that Abbotsford’s firefighters will be hosting their Harvest festival.
An evening filled with music, dancing, food and fun has been planned for this inaugural event, and the entertainment for the occasion will be supplied by the Tanner Olsen Band. The local food bank’s Starfish Pack Program will be the beneficiary of the celebration.
Tickets for the occasion are currently on sale, and their price has been set at $100.00. Individual seating cannot be reserved, but those who purchase a table for eight will be able to book their table. A silent auction has been included in the plans for the fundraiser, and the organizers are hoping the local community's businesses and individuals will be generous in their support of this. All donations to the auction will be appreciated.
