A springtime market will soon be taking place in Abbotsford, and while the shoppers browse and buy, they will be raising funds for the benefit of a local school.
Barrowtown Elementary School students and staff are hard at work getting ready for its annual Spring Market, which is in the works for this May. It will take place just in time for Mother's Day, and additional vendors are encouraged to submit an application so they can join in the fun.
Those who attend the function will be able to purchase gifts for mom, someone else or even themselves, and there will be a wide variety of items to choose from. The students will be hosting a plant sale, and there will also be food trucks serving up an assortment of fare. A kids swap is on the agenda, and everyone is invited to come out and help make the occasion a big success.
There may still be vendor tables available. Space bookings start at $10.00, and tables for these can also be booked for $5.00. Any business that takes part in a pop-up activity like this market can order custom-designed Business Cards from area printers.
The Barrowtown Spring Market will kick off at 11:00 am on May 6th. Barrowtown Elementary School is located at 5137 Tolmie Road, Abbotsford.
