Classic cars return to Abbotsford this sprint

The 22nd British Columbia Classic and Custom Car Show is about to take place in Abbotsford.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Cars, Stars and Guitars’. There are expected to be over 350 vehicles on display, including street rods, custom-designed, classic cars, motorcycles and trucks. Entry is open to all. The fee is $40 per vehicle, which includes a T-shirt, dash plaque and windscreen decal.

The show is set to feature a salute to American Graffiti with stars Bo Hopkins and Candy Clark confirmed and others in the pipeline. This will include seven tribute cars.

Other activities include the Dragster Cacklefest, Nitro Madness and a custom motorcycle showcase. The public can also get their picture taken with the Hot Rod Hotties and custom builder John D’Agostino will be speaking to the crowd.

There will also be beer gardens, live entertainment and the Electric Garage Collection car auction.

Vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of car-related merchandise. Many of them may contact an Abbotsford Print company to provide them with banner printing services to draw more attention to their booths.
