A summer evening can be perfect to enjoy an outdoor performance, and one of these activities will soon be delighting audience members of all ages in Abbotsford.
Mill Lake Park will be welcoming Symphony in the Park this August. The music will be performed by a full symphony, which will be conducted by Calvin Dyck. The musicians will be performing a variety of pieces, from contemporary to modern, and the crowd can sing along or even dance if they wish. The program of pieces has been designed so that it appeals to all ages.
Advance tickets are not required to attend the celebration, though donations will be most welcome. Parking is available in one of the nearby school parking lots, and attendees are reminded to bring a blanket or folding chair so they can relax and take in the show. They will also be able to enjoy treats from one of the food trucks that will be rolling in.
Outdoor concerts like the Symphony or similar activities may require marketing materials that will not be harmed by being exposed to the elements. A banner printing company will be happy to help produce any weather-resistant promotional materials.
The 2023 Summer Symphony in the Park will be welcoming Abbotsford music lovers on Friday, August 18th. The performance will begin at 6:30 pm.
