Many see the winter holiday season as a time to think of others, and an Abbotsford initiative will give the area's corporate community a way to give back.
Since it was first started over a decade ago, the Abbotsford Police Foundation’s Trees of Hope program has raised more than $100,000 in support of a variety of initiatives, and it will be making a return this year. A goal of raising over $10,000 has been set, and a call has once again gone out to local businesses to get involved.
Each company that takes part will decorate a tree that will then be displayed at the Sevenoaks Shopping Centre, and they will also be featured in both Print and digital media. They will be able to decorate their tree during a special gathering where refreshments will be served, and even Santa will stop by to thank them for thinking of others.
The companies that take part in this type of fundraiser are often invited to choose their own decor, and a graphic design team will be happy to help with this. It can prepare designs that include a business’ name and other branding, and these can be printed on an assortment of decorative items.
The 2021 Festival of Trees will be treating the public to some colourful holiday displays from November 16th of December 29th. More details are available on the Sevenoaks Shopping Centre website.
