Abbotsford plans active Easter weekend

Easterfest is taking place in Abbotsford this Easter weekend.

There will be plenty of family-friendly activities taking place during the four-day event. Visitors can travel along the Bunny Trail, they can visit Bunny Town and pet some real rabbits, and they can also meet some goats and sheep at the petting zoo. Easter treats will also be available at various stations.

There will be hayrides taking place each day from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tickets are $4.50 for those aged 13 and over. There is also a planned egg hunt to be held in the apple orchard for children aged 12 and younger. The cost is $10.95 per person, which includes the hayride. One special egg hidden in the orchard will contain a family pass to the Apple Barn. Participants must bring their own basket to collect the eggs.

Some of the family-activities planned are tractor trail trikes, the jumping pillow, and the pollen blaster shot, which costs $3.50 (the first one is free). In addition, magician Gary Savard will be performing.

Abbotsford flyer printing firms often provide the advertising for events such as this.

Easterfest will be held at the Taves Family Farm from April 19 to 22 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day. Admission is free of charge. For the most current information, visit the Taves Family Farm website.
