The Mango Market in Abbotsford has announced a set of events for this November designed to usher in the holiday season.
The marketplace will bid farewell to its regular outdoor season first with its Christmas Finale event. Children can meet with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, princess characters, and more, while adults can explore local food trucks and artisan vendors. A few weeks later, the party moves indoors for the Very Merry Mango Market, with a selection of over 100 artisans, a return visit from the children’s characters, and a number of workshops to be announced. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Abbotsford’s Archway Food Bank.
The markets are organized by Amanda Mango and Adina MacDonald to promote local businesses in Abbotsford and surrounding areas. There are a number of seasonal and themed markets throughout the year, such as Father’s Day, Foodie Fest, and Fall Fest. Vendors at earlier edition this year have included Cord & Stitch Fiber Arts, Simone’s Small Town Creations, and Sayonara Gluten Micro Bakery. Vendors at events like this often use Business Cards and other special products to help form lasting connections with new customers.
The Christmas Finale will take place on Gladys Avenue on November 9, while the Very Merry Mango Market will run from November 29 to December 1 at the AgRec Center.
