The Abbotsford Police Department, and the people who call the area home, work hand in hand to keep the community safe. A celebration of this partnership will be hosted by the city’s Chief of Police, and this will be the fifth year the event has been held.
The Abbotsford Police Foundation will once again be holding its Breakfast With the Chief, and the meal will seek to be part of an overall plan to make the community one of the safest in the province. The organizers explained that the city’s residents and businesses have been igorous in their support of the function in the past, and they are hoping that this year’s function will draw another large crowd.
The tickets for the breakfast are now on sale, and are priced at $55 each. Donations will also be welcome, and the proceeds will be utilized in supporting public safety and other programming administered by the police.
The planners of the breakfast remarked that they are grateful to the sponsors of the event, as they have helped to make it possible. This year’s Breakfast With the Chief will be welcoming guests starting at 7:00 am on October 23. It will be offered at 1190 Cornell Street.
