Abbotsford golf outing to support initiatives for local kids

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley offers programming and support to local kids, and the organization will be the charity of choice for a local golf outing.

Abbotsford’s Ledgeview Golf and Country Club will soon see golfers hitting the greens to help the organization meet the needs of the community, and they will be playing through 18 holes. The planners have explained they will be following the latest COVID prevention advice from the government.

The current plans for the outing include golf, lunch and dinner, and the registration fee is $225 per person. Each golfer will have their own individual tee time, and they will be asked to indicate three different choices for this when they sign up. Cart rentals are available as an add-on for the day and may be booked for $25. Donations to the cause from those who cannot attend in person will be welcome.

The 32nd instalment of the Golf for Kids’ Sake fundraiser is being hosted thanks to the support of a variety of corporate and other sponsors. The Logo Design of these partners has been added to the function’s website.

The golfers participating in this fundraising activity will be teeing off on June 18th. The most up-to-date details about the function can be found on its online listing.
