Abbotsford gathering to show love to local trails

The trails in and around Abbotsford offer ways to experience the great outdoors, and the public’s support can keep them in top shape. A meeting will help to kick off local stewardship activities, and give attendees a chance to meet others who love to spend some time on the trails.

The Share the Trails day will be jointly hosted by the Outdoor Recreation Council BC and the Horse Council BC, and is open to anyone who is interested. It will address many topics related to outdoor recreation, and it will give the public a venue where they can have their say.

The day will begin at 8:15am with registration, and programming will start at 9am. A buffet lunch will be served and this, along with snacks, will be complimentary for delegates. This event may be of interest to people who hike, ride on horseback or bike the province’s trails.

Attending a function like this can give members of the public a way to act as stewards for the trials they love, while at the same time, providing a venue for them to meet others who share their interests. Print shops can help to raise the profile of organizations and events like this through poster printing services.

This year’s Share the Trails symposium has been scheduled for April 24th. The venue for the function will be released closer to the date.
