Abbotsford fundraiser to honour locals legacy

Brook Morrison left a legacy of caring for both his friends and the wider community, and an event planned in his honour will be on offer at an Abbotsford venue this fall.

Morrison was well known for throwing Hawaiian shirt-themed parties for his friends, and this is the inspiration behind the BeMorr Society’s Hawaiian Shirt Gala. It will raise funds to support mental health awareness and initiatives, and the evening promises to be lots of fun.

Each of the ticketholders will be treated to a full dinner, as well as entertainment, and the festivities will get started with a cocktail hour mixer. Several guest speakers will take to the podium, and a silent auction and even split draw are both on the agenda. This will be the second year for the fundraiser, and 2022’s instalment included a draw for a vacation and West Jet tickets.

Organizing a fundraiser such as this one often includes choosing effective marketing materials that will also be budget friendly. A banner printing company will be pleased to help, and can offer a full line of Promotional Products.

This chance for Abbotsford to support mental health initiatives and awareness will be on offer at Ledgeview Golf Club on October 21st. A link to purchase tickets, as well as further details, can be found on the City of Abbotsford website.
