Abbotsford asked to support local holiday toy drive

An initiative that celebrates the fun of the holiday season is scheduled for Abbotsford, and as the proceeds will benefit the local Christmas Bureau, it will help to make the season bright for one and all.

The Bring a Toy for Breakfast toy drive is a popular tradition in the community, and it will be returning to the Clarion Hotel and Conference Centre in Abbotsford in late November. Admission is free, and it promises to be lots of fun.

To take part in the activity, all members of the public have to do is bring along a new, unwrapped toy or a monetary donation. As the more toys that are received, the more kids will benefit, people may want to donate more than one item, and once they have made their contribution, they will be invited to head to the buffet line. Live entertainment, a crafting area and a photo booth will be on hand, and even Santa himself will drop by to thank people for their generosity.

The holiday season is a popular time for fundraisers, and banner printing shops can create plenty of festive decor for these occasions.

Sunday, November 27th will see the Bring a Toy for Breakfast event return to Abbotsford. It will be open to the public from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
