Livestock convention to return to Lethbridge
The fourth edition of the Alberta Livestock Expo will be coming to Lethbridge this October, bringing with it both farmers and industry figures from across the province.
This year’s expo will see the addition of 9,000 square feet of floor space for booths and exhibitions. The two-day event includes a dinner banquet, lunch buffet and a pork quality competition open to all Alberta hog farmers. The exhibition is expected to attract hundreds of people in the pork industry and will contain over 100 exhibitors and 150 booths.

The Livestock Expo will be looking to give back to the community, contributing 1,900 kilograms of pork to Lethbridge-area food banks and $25,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta. There will be a raffle for Alberta-made prizes, such as handmade Western boots, cattleman hats and leather suspenders to help visitors look like an Alberta cowboy.
