A Calgary event has been planned with the tea lover in mind, and it will be a deep dive into this popular beverage which is enjoyed all over the world.
Ninth and Brick will be the venue for an exploration of Masala Chai tea, and TEA Shop YYC will provide an assortment of blends for participants to sample. It will be a two hour seminar, and each attendee will be going home with some of their own special infusions to share with family and friends.
During the workshop, learners will discover the history of chai tea and the different varieties that are popular. They will be invited to sample a selection of blends, and while they do, they will learn how the various ingredients can influence its flavour. Attendees can discuss the beverages with the other students, and it’s intended to be a casual and friendly affair.
