The Calgary Boat and Outdoors Show is coming to the city for four days next month.
The show is set to feature over 175 exhibitors who will be selling boats of all sizes, boating accessories, fishing supplies, clothing and many other items of interest to the outdoors enthusiast.
There will be several speakers on the Outdoor Stage, including Lisa Roper, Mike Engler and the Fishinggeeks. Topics of discussion will include fly fishing and understanding boats. There will also be hunting and fishing simulators on hand at the Alberta Hunter Education Instructors Association area.
Guests will have the opportunity to see some birds of prey in action, while the children can have fun playing catch and release in the Kids Trout Fishing Pond. Another sure-to-be-popular event taking place will be the West Coast Lumberjack Show featuring log rolling, axe chopping and chainsaw competitions.

The Calgary Boat and Outdoors Show will be held at the BMO Centre from February 7 to 10. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and children between the ages of 13 and 17, and free for children aged 12 and younger; family passes are available for $38 each.
