Festival offers fun for dogs and their owners

The Dog Fest Spring Fling is taking place next month in Calgary, and is a fundraising event for the Four Feet Companion Foundation.

The event is set to feature indoor and outdoor play areas for dogs; small and large dogs will be separated. There will also be a number of vendors on hand who will be selling dog treats, accessories, and clothing for canines of all sizes.

Guests can get a professional portrait of their dog for $15, and will receive one digital image. There will also be prizes and a raffle auction that will raise funds for the Four Feet Companion Foundation.

Other activities will be a Pooch and Their People Look Alike contest, a doggy fashion show, and information about pet first aid. Guests will also have the opportunity to have their questions answered at the Ask-a-Vet and Ask-a-Trainer tables.

Admission is free and each person through the door will receive one free door prize ticket.

The Four Feet Companion Foundation provides grants to various charities that provide services for homeless pets.

Calgary flyer printing companies are often asked to help spread the word about community events such as this.
