Celebrate the Turkish culture in Calgary

The 6th annual Calgary Turkish Festival will take place at Eau Claire Festival Plaza from July 6th - 8th from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm each day.

The festival will feature Turkish art, folk dancing, Turkish music, Turkish food such as baklava and donair, Turkish coffee and tea, souvenirs, handmade crafts, products from Turkey, children's activities, musical and dance performances, henna, calligraphy and even Whirling Dervishes. It is the perfect event to introduce your family to the vibrant culture of Calgary. Vendors can rent space for $550 which includes a tent, two tables, two chairs and two event T-Shirts. They can make the best of this opportunity by working with Calgary printing companies to make their tent area more appealing to the general public; printing companies can provide a vendor with banner printing and poster printing services in order to accomplish this. A colorful banner with a Turkish theme would help to draw people to that tent.

Sponsorships are also available from $500-$4,000; depending on which package is purchased sponsors receive a stage banner, are mentioned in the festival flyer and Posters and are mentioned on the official website.

Calgary is most known for the Calgary Stampede which takes place in July, but the Stampede is just one of the many events which also takes place at the same time. July is a great time for tourists and residents alike to discover all that the city has to offer and the Turkish Festival is a perfect example of an event which will appeal to many of them.

Admission if free, and 15,000 people are expected to show up.
