A Calgary garden centre that believes everyone can enjoy a garden, whether they have a big yard or just a doorstep, will be introducing the fun of small-space gardening this spring.
Decks, patios, and other outdoors spaces can be used for growing vegetable gardens on a smaller scale than people might be used to, and Greengate Garden Centres’ MacLeod Trail SE location has scheduled an afternoon workshop that can help to make the most of them. It has a runtime of three hours, and it is one of the sessions on the Urban Farm School schedule.
During the class, attendees will learn about the various options for small-space vegetable growing. Soil management, choosing the right container, irrigation options and other cultural concerns will all be discussed. Tickets to attend the class are $49.00 each, plus any applicable taxes and fees.
Spring is on the way, and that means many Calgary venues and businesses will be getting ready for the change of seasons with a new promotional strategy. A poster printing company can lend a hand with a company’s marketing campaign, providing an assortment of custom materials to help catch the eye.
This opportunity to get the inside scoop on small-space gardening is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 13th. It will continue on until 4:00 pm.
