Calgary Search Engine Optimization workshop

On July 6 tomorrow, the CREB/Mortgage Alliance Training Center in Calgary is holding a workshop entitled What Every Business Owner Needs to Know about Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

The importance of Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, cannot be underestimated if you want their website to be successful and to bring you new business. Printing companies with their own websites understand that before you can do business from your website you must get people to visit that site.

This is where SEO comes in handy. It is based on using keywords that people who use a search engine such as Google or Bing will be likely to search for. For example, if people are searching on one of these engines and are looking for Business Cards that they can Print from a website they need to know that your website offers this service by using the correct keywords.

This workshop will take place from 9:30 am to noon and costs $38.95. The workshop will be hosted by David A. West who is an Internet Consultant.

Mr. West will present real world examples of SEO and show how it works successfully for many businesses. He will be showing how businesses can use websites blogs, and social media sites such as LinkedIn and Facebook as a way of growing their business and gaining more clients. It will be a hands-on workshop, you are encouraged to bring your own laptop and to immediately use the knowledge that you gain on your websites.
