Knowing how to manage their money is a skill that can be very useful to both kids and parents alike, and a Calgary workshop will teach them some of the secrets of financial management.
The workshop, which is scheduled to run for approximately an hour and a half, will teach families how they can have a more positive relationship with money. It will also reveal that it is never too early to learn about topics like budgeting, saving and other tools that can keep a person on a sound financial footing.
The organizers have planned for the seminar to be appropriate for children between the ages of 6 to 11, and they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The ticket price will be $25 each, but they are only required for the children who register. While the information may be geared towards the younger set, according to the planners, lots of it will be useful for adults as well. A printer that offers binding services will be able to craft an assortment of workbooks and other learning materials for this type of educational event.
The Financial Fundamentals workshop for kids has been planned for the morning of January 4, 2018 and it will be held in the upstairs community room of the Calgary Co-op Auburn Bay, and it will start at 10:00 am.
