Calgary course to host APCA golf fundraiser

The Alberta Painting Contractors Association (APCA) serves as a collective voice for business and individuals in the industry, and it has scheduled a day of golf for its members.

The 4th annual APCA Wilf Grapentin Memorial Golf Event has been set for mid-June. The players will take to the links at Calgary’s McKenzie Meadows Golf Club, and there will be 18 holes to play.

Each registrant will be offered the use of a powered cart, and they can get in some practice at the driving range as well. The meal will include a 8oz steak, along with sides and dessert, and while they play through, the attendees can enjoy socializing and building connections with the other players. The day will honour Wilf Grapentin, who was a successful contractor and MPI-accredited QA paint inspector.

This year's charities of choice will be Calgary Hospice and the Calgary Food Bank. A silent auction will help to raise even more funds, and donations of gifts from the city’s business community will be greatly appreciated. Anyone who would like to take advantage of this opportunity is asked to contact the APCA.

The 4th annual APCA Wilf Grapentin Memorial Golf Event will be teeing off on June 13th. It is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am, and will wrap up at 7:00 pm. Poster printing can be used to promote such events.
