Calgary class to offer introduction to artistic inks

India ink can be used to create whimsical works of art, and a Calgary class will introduce the practice to both newbies and seasoned artists alike.

Kensington Art Supply and Instruction offers a variety of learning opportunities, and one of these will see the public develop their skills when it comes to working with inks. They will get some practice by preparing whimsical pet portraits, and all of the supplies needed will be provided.

The group will be taught by artist Yulia Tsinko, and advance registration is required. Attendees will learn how to draw animal structures as well as the texture of fur and feathers, and everyone will have a chance to work on a series of exercises to help them get some experience before they begin their final project. The ticket price is $79.74, which includes taxes and fees, and tickets are available through Eventbrite.

A workshop offers a chance to learn some new skills. A flyer printing company can offer several cost-effective ways to market a function to a local area.

This class, which will serve as both an introduction for newbies or a refresher for those with plenty of experience working with inks will be held on Monday, October 9. It will get started at 6:00 pm, and it will take place at 6999 11 Street Southeast.
