Calgary builders at the top of their trade

Calgary members of the Canadian Homebuilder’s Association - Alberta ( CHBA-AB) have shown they have what it takes when it comes to leading the way to provide the best in construction and other aspects of building a home.

Members of the association from across the city are among the top finalists in the organization’s annual awards for the province. They are winners in 25 of the categories, and will be receiving at least three Builders of the Year awards. The president of the group noted that there are entries from all six of the local associations across Alberta, demonstrating the huge level of pride they take in their work.

Calgary builders had 35 entries on the list of finalists, with Edmonton coming in second and Lethbridge third. Categories range from single family homes to huge estate-style residences, “green’ homes, multi-family building renovations and community developments. There will also be awards given for Safety Leadership and other categories as well. The CHBA-AB received over 400 entries for its contest, and the final winners are set to be announced at BUILD 2015 on September 18th in Jasper. The Safety Leadership Awards will be presented at the same event.
