A major events venue in Perth will welcome a hit comedian from Britain to its stage who is undertaking a tour of Australasia in 2026.
Perth comedy fans disappointed that Eddie Izzard cancelled plans to perform in Australia last year will cheer to hear that the comedian is now appearing this autumn. Izzard is bringing an event called “the Remix Tour Live” to major venues in top cities across Australia and New Zealand.
Stand-up comics and their agents sometimes collaborate with specialist poster printing services to create eye-catching promotional materials that help boost ticket sales for tours and individual shows.
The performance in Perth will see Izzard introduce comedic highlights from a career that has lasted more than four decades and is still going strong. From crazy tales to weird comedy stories, the star will re-imaging and remix much-loved material for fans.
As well as a successful stand-up, Izzard can also be seen and heard in television shows and films. Acting appearances and voice work are featured in titles like “The Lego Batman Movie”, “Doctor Jekyll” “Ocean’s Thirteen” “The Day of the Triffids” and “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”.
Eddie Izzard’s Remix Tour Live will now be onstage at the Riverside Theatre on Monday, May 11. The show will get underway from 8 pm and the venue is sited at 21 Mounts Bay Road in Perth.
