Dublin favourites to bid farewell in Perth

As part of a worldwide farewell tour, a contemporary Irish indie band will be taking to the stage in Perth this year.

Kodaline began life named 21 Demands, but the band changed its name in 2012 to reflect the musical direction in which it was travelling.

The group comprises Steve Garrigan (singer, songwriter, piano and guitar), Vincent May (drums), Mark Prendergast (lead guitar) and Jason Boland (bass guitar). The band has now come to a natural end, as two members have expressed a desire to move on.

Kodaline will be bringing out a final album to mark the end of the band. This is due out on 2 October and is already available for pre-order. The album is titled We Were Only Young, with the first single released called Without You. The farewell tour will encompass Europe, Asia and the UK.

The playlist is likely to include favourites such as indie rock anthems Wherever You Are, High Hopes, Love Like This and All I Want.

Promotional Products such as T-Shirts, tote Bags and Posters are often available at venues that play live music, as fans may wish to support the band by taking home souvenirs of the gig.

The Kodaline Farewell Tour is happening in Perth on Tuesday, 1 September at 8pm. The venue is the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, with tickets costing from $101.85.
