Perth to celebrate cinematic anniversary

A live musical event paying tribute to a famous film trilogy’s major milestone is being held at a civic hub in Perth this year.

Fans of Tolkien and Peter Jackson’s epic fantasy movies can attend a concert headed for the city in late winter. Called Candlelight: The Lord of the Rings, the event honours the trilogy’s 25th anniversary.

Those attending will get a chance to appreciate a curated setlist of the most memorable Middle Earth music sourced from the original scores created by acclaimed soundtrack composer, Howard Shore.

Planners of exclusive concerts sometimes reach out to skilled Graphic Design Services that can fashion plush programmes for ticketholders to retain as mementos of their experience.

Lit by candles, the Dolce Ensemble will take audience members on a classical quest performing pieces from the first film, The Fellowship of the Ring, its The Two Towers sequel and the final chapter, The Return of the King. The string quartet will play much-loved music like the whimsical Concerning Hobbits and the rousing The Ride of the Rohirrim, among other arrangements.

The Candlelight: The Lord of the Rings concert will be held at Perth Town Hall on Friday, August 7. The venue can be found based on the corner of Barrack Street and Hay Street in Perth’s central business district, and tickets are now available priced from $34.00 per person.
