Perth to celebrate Italian culture through festival

A festival dedicated to all things Italian will be returning to a popular Perth greenspace in autumn.

Perth residents with a passion for Italian cooking and culture will cheer to hear that a much-loved event is making its welcome return. Once again, the state capital will host the heavily attended “Perth Italian Festival”, and guests can enjoy a sense of authentic community while appreciating an eclectic mix of music, cuisine and family-friendly activities.

Organisers of events celebrating the culture of specific countries sometimes reach out to banner printing services for signage showcasing national colours like the red, white and green of Italy.

Those planning to attend the all-day event can enjoy genuine Italian food like zeppole, gelato, pizza and pasta and drinks like wine, spritz and beer. Live entertainers will be on stage playing Italian music and performing traditional dances, while gearheads can admire a display of both luxury and classic Italian cars in a variety of makes and models.

Other highlights include an Italian arts, gifts and crafts market and a special fireworks show.

The Perth Italian Festival 2026 will now take place at Langley Park on Saturday, April 11. The festivities start at 11 am and run all the way to 10.30 pm. A major outdoor space, the park is sited along Riverside Drive in Perth’s central business district in between Adelaide Terrace and the Swan River.
