Perth to hear 90s music

An evening dedicated to an alternative rock genre is being held in Perth this year featuring a long list of tribute acts dedicated to famous bands from the ‘90s.

Music fans with a penchant for ‘90s rock in the area can attend an upcoming event called “GRUNGEFEST 2026”. Presented by Six By Nine Agency, the concert will pay tribute to some of the biggest bands from the era.

Venues hosting retro music nights sometimes call on professional poster printing services that can produce promotional ads with the look and feel of times gone by to create nostalgia and encourage attendance.

A wide range of tribute bands has been booked to perform on the night. These include The Brown Study Band as Pearl Jam, Miss Violet as Hole, Feeling Minnesota as Soundgarden, Mashing Potatoes as Smashing Pumpkins, Stacked Actors as Foo Fighters, Alice in a Nutshell as Alice in Chains, Six Inch Screws as Nine Inch Nails, The Lounge Flys as Stone Temple Pilots and Come as You Are performing as grunge kings Nirvana, to name but a few.

GRUNGEFEST 2026 will now run at the Magnet House nightclub on Saturday, July 4. The concert will kick off at 6 pm and the venue is on Murray Street in Perth. General admission to the event is available to those aged 18 or older and tickets are $44.90 per person.
