A business workshop will run in Perth next month to prepare overseas students in Australia for work.
The Australian Industry (AI) Group will operate this free workshop designed for foreign students who are currently enrolled in Australian universities. Entitled “Navigating the Australian Business and Workplace Environment”, the single-day course covers communication, compliance and culture and will help students transition from university to working life.
Educational institutions often use professionally printed branded Letterheads when sending official communications to the students who enrol in their workshops, courses and classes.
Suited to international students from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, the event will equip enrolees with a practical understanding of working in Australia. Key themes include business etiquette and effective interactions and how to adapt for careers not just in Australia, but globally.
Highlights include an overview of Australian industry, exploring trends, sectors and opportunities and an in-depth look at the Australian workplace, examining expectations, roles, structure and employee rights.
The Navigating the Australian Business and Workplace Environment workshop will take place on Thursday, November 6 at Study Perth in the Switch Theatre. The event starts at 3.30 pm and ends at 7 pm, and the venue is based at 555 Wellington Street in Perth.
While the workshop is free to attend, registration is required by all wishing to participate.Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
