Residents in the Thornbury area can soon sign up for a sound session that aims to help with their own personal journeys.
Liam Le Kelle is a Master Sound Healer and will be guiding the session. The vibrations of the sound coupled with breathing techniques may allow attendees to experience a feeling of reconnection with themselves.
Le Kelle is a shamanic practitioner and reiki master, and is skilled at using vocal training. He has also practised among indigenous communities around the world in order to enrich his understanding of the power of sound.
The instruments used during this session will include drums, chimes, singing bowls and flutes, creating a unique soundscape when paired with the trained voice of the Master Sound Healer.
Sound therapy is a holistic centuries old tradition and is seen by some to help improve mental health, boost sleep and the immune system, and assist in nurturing an overall sense of wellbeing.
Community events like this one are often advertised in the area by using local printing services.
The Inner Vibrational Journey through Breath and Sound Work will take place on 6 December, from 1.30 pm until 4.30 pm. The venue is Prana House, which can be found at 885 High Street in Thornbury. Tickets cost from $132 and the event is suitable for all, including beginners.
