A three-day pop-up event is going to be available to residents of Thornbury at the beginning of May.
Made590 is hosting its biggest pop-up event yet. There will be merino wool knitwear, Scissors Paper Made Stationery and plenty of exclusive items available for purchase.
Known for fun basic items and prints that are designed in house or by local artists, there will also be men’s T-Shirts, seasonal accessories, jewellery, shoes and gifts for all occasions at the event. These are available in store or online.
Labelling for pop-up events like this one might be produced by local printing services.
Made590 began in 2004, started by Christina Kelly in Newtown. In 2018, it became a brand that embraced inclusive sizing to appeal to a mass-market and it continues to champion inclusive sizing that realistically represents the population.
The models on the website are often staff and customers, and viewers reportedly appreciate seeing how the clothing looks on real people, regardless of heritage, size, shape and age.
Ethics are important to the brand, too. Most items are made in Sydney, and the rest is manufactured in China by producers who have an ethical certificate. Labelling is clear on each garment so that buyers can see the location of the manufacture of the garment before they buy.
The Made590 Melbourne Pop-Up Launch Night is taking place from Friday, 1 May until 3 May, from 4 pm until 7 pm at the Neon Parlour, 791 High Street, Thornbury.Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts Get a Free Quote for Stationery
