An indie artist from West Texas is headed for Thornbury to play a single-night show.
Popular gig spot, the Thornbury Local, has announced it is welcoming Bret Mosely to the stage in April. For one night only, the Texan singer-songwriter will perform a selection of songs for fans of indie, folk, and emotional Americana. Difficult to define musically, Mosely’s work was once described by music website PopMatters.com as:
“...no more country than R&B, no more folk than rock.”
As an artist, Mosely is renowned for his intricate slide guitar work, which he plays lap-style, creating stomping grooves. His vocals are stirring, helping him deliver poetic songs about the human condition, longing and love that have personal meaning.

Bret Mosely will now perform live at the Thornbury Local on Friday, April 11. The concert will kick off at 8 pm and the venue is situated at 635 High Street in Thornbury.
