An acclaimed UK quartet will be making a welcome return to Australia this year on a tour that includes a show in Thornbury.
Music fans in Thornbury will get another chance to see the award-winning Bombay Bicycle Club when they come back for a fresh tour of Australia in Spring. Along with appearances in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane, the successful British band will also play The Croxton Bandroom in Thornbury.

November will see the band made up of Ed Nash, Jack Steadman, Suren de Saram and Jamie MacColl perform a headline show for a Thornbury audience, giving them a chance to hear a hit-laden set-list that may include tracks like “Always Like This”, “Eat, Sleep, Wake”, “Lights Out, Words Gone” and “Luna”.
Since entering the music scene in their tender teenage years in 2009, the band has accrued a considerable following and accolades, including the NME Best New Band Award in 2010. A festival favourite, they have played Reading, Coachella and Glastonbury, while collaborations have seen them work with big names in music like Blur’s Damon Albarn.
Bombay Bicycle Club will now be live at The Croxton Bandroom on Saturday, November 16. The venue is based at 607 High Street, Thornbury.
