A singer-songwriter from New York state is set perform live in Thornbury this summer.
Thornbury Theatre has confirmed it will be showcasing the musical gifts of Gabrielle Sterbenz in summertime. The Bronx-based artist will be arriving at the suburb’s popular events venue in February to perform for one night only. From auditoriums and arenas to club and theatres live music venues on every scale often rely on specialist poster printing services to create ads that entice people to book tickets.
Sterbenz rose to fame for her connection with US alt-rock group Wheatus. She has toured extensively with the band, not only providing backing vocals on top tracks like the world-famous “Teenage Dirtbag” but also offering them strong support as an opening act for their shows.
Yearning to sing since age three, Sterbenz sang with a gospel choir in high school before pursuing a career in the music industry.
The show in Thornbury follows a stint for the singer touring the US with Wheatus founder, singer and guitarist Brendan B Brown on a solo acoustic mission. It will also give her a chance to introduce material from her latest album, released in March 2024.
Gabrielle Sterbenz will be at The Thornbury Theatre on Saturday, February 1. The theatre can be found at 859 High Street in Thornbury and the gig will begin at 7.30 pm.
