A prolific rock band from San Francisco, California are coming to play a concert in Thornbury this year.
Thornbury music fans who like their rock with a twist won’t want to miss a gig coming to the suburb’s home of live music, The Croxton Bandroom, in March. The local venue has announced it will play host to San Francisco rockers Osees, led by John Dwyer, for a one-night show.
The upcoming performance is just one date on the band’s welcome return to Australia. Along with Thornbury, the autumn tour will take Osees (also known as OCS, The Oh Sees, Thee Oh Sees and Oh Sees) to Adelaide, Brisbane, Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney.

The band’s visit to Australian shores follows their 2023 national tour, which enjoyed sold-out shows. It will also see them appear at the 2025 edition of major Victoria music event the Golden Plains Festival as a feature act.
The tour will allow the band to play live renditions of tracks from their latest studio album. Titled Sorcs 80, the recording is their 28th LP to date.
